TALKING 'BOUT HAIR HAIR HAIR!!!!

Let's talk about hair products!! What's new in the hair and beauty supply store? What makes your hair grow thicker....longer....fuller......oooooooo don't we all want to know!!!

I don't know anything about hair. I don't know how to do my own hair. I don't even know how to wash my hair and blow dry it... I know, I know.....it's sad... but true!!! I strictly rely on my hairdresser (shout out to Marcy of Marcy's Images).

But....just because I don't know how to do my hair or anything, doesn't mean I can't tell you about the products I see my hair dresser uses in my hair and others.....and I can tell you about other hair products that people told me were good for their hair.

Well, one thing Marcy (Marcy's Images) tells me to do is to drink water, water water. She can look at my hair and know whether or not I have been drinking plenty of water..well she can look at my hair, anyone's hair and tell you exactly what you have done to it with out even touching the hair.... I know, she's the bomb.

Marcy puts a homemade avocado conditioner in my hair.. she mixes it in the salon and puts some other special treats in the avocado concoction and it makes my hair look and feel so good. When my hair is shedding, she mixes a protein conditioner that stinks so bad, but it stops the shedding....I love it. I don't know what kind of shampoo she uses, I just know it smells good. Recently, she put a new perm in my hair (yes, I am a slave to the creamy crack but only 2-3 times a year) called Velvetex and I have to say, I love this perm, my hair is so silky, shiny and just flowing all over the place.

Ok, I recently heard about this product called MTG. It is suppose to make your hair grow thick and long.

This is a product for HORSES but PEOPLE use it in their hair and swear by it. It is a product by a company called Shapley's. So I went to the website and checked out the testimonies and it was from people who used the product on their horses (which the product was made for) and giving them praise because their horses' manes were shining again and their dry spots on their legs were gone and the hair grew back and everything.......and get this.. this product has a really funky smell...People rub MTG on their horses' and they don't rinse it off. Can you say wow.. I can....WOW!!!!

Carol's Daughter. I know some people that have used some of her hair products and actually like it. I have used something from her line too... didn't do anything for me though.

Khoret Amen Shea Butter Smoothie Conditioner. It's for intense conditioning. A couple of people I know love how this conditioner makes their hair feel.

Khoret Amen Hair Oil. Now I have used this product. It was suppose to promote hair growth but it did not. It promoted nothing and I hated the smell.

Mimosa Hair Honey.

People swear by this. I have heard nothing but good things about this hair honey. I may go out and get some. It controls the frizzies and add shine and luster to your hair..well I am all for that. Maybe I will bring some to Marcy and see what she thinks about the product....hmmmmmm
